I am a Hot Mama because...

Finding my passion for healthy eating and fitness has been a long-evolving process for me. I grew up overweight and inactive and, through the years, I’ve adopted a healthy lifestyle that has become second nature to me. Fitness is no longer a chore but a privilege. Healthy eating isn’t a burden but a blessing. I would love to help other mamas find their “happy place” with healthy living and make peace with their bodies! Along the way, I’ve learned and experienced so much that I am bursting to tell other people. I can’t wait to share with other mamas and their minis.

Joining the Hot Mama team and building my own Hot Mama community is the best decision I have ever made because...

I get to share my passion for health and fitness to a wonderful group of mamas who, in turn, model the example of healthy living to their children. It’s a powerful circle of sharing! I also get to do what I love while setting the best example for my own daughter.

Teaching for Hot Mama is...

Exciting! I love coming up with a fun and challenging work out and then seeing the Mamas give it all their effort and strength to get it done!

Meet my family...

My husband Greg and I have an amazing 3 year old daughter, Maria, who is the light of our lives. We also have a senior cat named Butters, who is my second favourite “kid”.

My favourite part of my body is...

I don’t play favourites. Each body part has its own purpose and strength to carry me through life.

I can often be heard saying (or yelling)...

GO! You got this! (Because I wouldn’t put it in a workout if I didn’t think you weren't capable!)

My favourite healthy snack is... But secretly I would rather be having...

I also don’t play favourites with food! Popular healthy snacks include apples, homemade muffins, cheese, nuts…. but I would secretly rather be having peanut M&Ms (or pizza but it’s easier to make a healthy version of that!)

My perfect Sunday morning is...

Quiet time with coffee, playing with my daughter, some cooking or baking and then sneaking away for a long run in the park.

My dream vacation is...

Anywhere that’s known for its food! Spain and NYC are on my radar.

My favourite way to indulge myself is...

A great workout followed by an iced coffee or… shopping!
